Recording in FirstClass

(Make sure that you computer's input is set to internal microphone: System Preferences-->Sound-->Input-->Internal Microphone)

  1. Login to your account and create a new message
  2. From the Edit menu, select Insert and then Insert Voice
  3. To start recording press the red round button
  4. Speak clearly into the computer’s microphone
  5. To stop recording press the red pause button
  6. To listen to the recording, press the the black play button
  7. If it sounds okay, save the recording to the email message by pressing the red square button. The audio file will show as an attachment on the email message. (If the recording does not sound okay, then re-record using Steps 3-6).
  8. Drag the file onto your computer’s desktop
  9. From there, you may upload the audio file to a blog post or to a Moodle course page.
